Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced and Cat C cleared Prison Nurse to work as a Clinical Lead in Northumberland. You'll work in a unique environment, delivering many of the nurse-led services that are provided in the wider community, with a unique opportunity to support someone throughout their time in prison.
You will be required to offer support within the prison, providing clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams. As Clinical Lead, you will coach, line manage and develop clinician staff. Duties include:
- Dealing with minor injury and illness
- Emergency care
- Health assessments
- Safe and legal use of appropriate medicines
- Working collaboratively with the wider team whilst treating all patients as individuals, respecting their privacy and dignity
Pay: £31.00ph (Ltd Umbrella) = £27.29ph (PAYE Inclusive)
Hours: 37 hours across 4 days 08:00am - 18:00pm
Person Specification:
The successful applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse currently registered with the NMC and have recent experience working within a prison. Experience as a Clinical Lead is required. The applicant must hold current cat A prison vetting along with a clear transferable DBS.
