We are recruiting for our client, who are looking for a Multi skilled Plant Technician. The role will be to repair and maintain all company assets including reactive and preventative maintenance issues, must work to company safety and quality procedures. Experience of working in a Maintenance Department and in a manufacturing environment is essential.
Role and Responsibilities
- To repair and maintain all plant and equipment in a safe manner.
- To work within all safety policies and procedures.
- To ensure all plant and equipment is in a safe and acceptable condition.
- To identify and specify spare part requirements for machine repair.
- Compliance with company quality instruction.
- To work in conjunction with production in order to minimise plant downtime.
- Clear, concise and appropriate communication style both written and verbal.
- Must have knowledge of machine control systems and/or mechanical workings.
- Able to identify faults on large engineering plant and work on machine installation.
- To work in compliance and follow company health and safety policies and procedures.
- To ensure quality of repair work or modification.
- To ensure compliance with company timescale for regular service repairs.
- To work and ensure compliance with company quality procedures.

- 4 day week
- Week 1 - Monday-Thursday 06.00 - 17.00
- Week 2 - Tuesday to Friday 06.00 - 17.00
Pay £16.00 - £18.00
