Job Title: Class Teacher

Location: Wessex Lodge School, Frome (position to cover across all locations)

Salary: From ÂŁ31,650.00 per annum dependant on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class Teachers to join our fantastic team at Wessex Lodge School, Frome.

About the role

As a Class Teacher and under the reasonable direction of the Head Teacher, carry out the professional duties of a teacher as outlined in the job description.

You will ensure provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying in the curriculum area, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies. You will contribute to raising standards of student attainment and to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their full potential. You will develop and enhance the teaching practice of others and to monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within the curriculum area.

Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.

Also, as you will be expected to cover across all 3 locations, a full UK Driving Licence is essential

Wessex Lodge School currently comprises of three sites: Wessex Lodge Primary School located in Kilmington, Wessex Lodge Secondary School located in Frome, and Newmead Farm, located in Maiden Bradley. All sites allow students the opportunity to explore the curriculum alongside a range of subject paths, including the likes of, animal care, horticulture, DT, and forest school, as well as sporting activities.
