Role Purpose

To provide First Line Leadership in the running of a safe and efficient dedicated operational area, working within clear guidelines to help achieve the operational standards for your area of responsibility. To actively drive the engagement, performance, and recognition of your direct reports.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a clear understanding of customer quality standards, ensuring both customer and company expectations are met.
  • Have a clear understanding of Roles & Responsibilities and Operational Objectives & KPIs applicable to your role and team.
  • Communicate productivity and direct hours targets to your team, ensuring they have a clear understanding of what is expected from them.
  • Use the Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) program daily to ensure appropriate behaviours and processes are followed as required.
  • Ensure compliance with the site HSE policy including the HS Management System.
  • Contribute to the site health, safety, and environmental meetings, ensuring that you action outputs and provide feedback as required.
  • Ensure all colleagues in your area of responsibility have received appropriate induction, including any necessary job/task specific or specialist training (e.g. MHE and QPS/WES).
  • Investigate all near misses, incidents, and accidents.
