The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solution Architect, working with our client, a leading multinational defence and security company. Due to the nature of the work, we are looking for candidates who hold SC level clearance or those able to obtain it.
Due to impending Datacentre closure and end of life workloads, there is a requirement for a number of Solution Architects to operate in a squad to accelerate the assessment, treatment planning, design and migration of systems/apps to Azure.
The ideal candidate MUST have:
- Experience of being part of a DC Exit & Obsolescence Programme
- Experience of leading but also supporting a team in the discovery and assessment at a fast pace using a 7R's approach.
- Ability to conduct and lead meetings with business app owners/stakeholders
- Making determinations for treatment quickly
- Experience of re-host then re-architect approach (Lift and Shift)
- Experience of a variety of application architecture both source and target
- Experience of business stakeholder engagement to reverse engineer application/system architecture
- Experience of migrating to Azure and understanding Cloud Architectures and capabilities
- Operate at significant pace and pressure to hit deadlines
- A good mix of Infra; Application; Security experience would be beneficial.
