Applicants should have knowledge of both standards.The accounts are complex, with large engineering teams and multiple stakeholders. The SAE must collaborate effectively within a matrix organization, balancing technical expertise with stakeholder engagement.These are new roles reflecting business growth, offering an excellent opportunity for an Authorising Engineer to progress to SAE level, influence engineering standards, and work with SMEs for a leading Hard FM provider.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and ensure high health and safety standards across sites.Ensure compliance with statutory, mandatory, and contractual safety requirements.Set Safe System of Work requirements for high-risk activities.Interview, assess, and appoint authorized persons per policies.Lead and mentor teams on Safe Systems of Work compliance.Define responsibilities for authorized persons regarding systems and installations.Maintain a register of authorized persons and report deficiencies.Document and communicate deviations from guidance to authorized persons.Professional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsAE experience with Electrical/Mechanical bias.The CompanyISS is a global workplace and facility management company committed to diversity and inclusion.
