Proposals Engineer £35,000 – £45,000 Hull Monday – Friday (Hybrid) Purpose of the Role * Take charge of preparing and managing proposals for projects, making sure they are technically accurate, commercially practical, and meet client needs. * Understand client requirements and help create concept designs by working with the Design Team or making basic layout drawings using Revit. * Lead the entire proposal process from idea to final submission, including estimating costs, working with stakeholders, and writing clear proposal documents. * Handle individual proposals independently and assist the Head of Bids and Bid Managers with bigger, more complex projects. Essential Criteria * Have an HNC or similar qualification (like NVQ Level 4) in engineering, construction, or a related field. * Good knowledge of technical estimating, pricing, and procurement processes. * Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for cost modeling, documents, and presentations. * Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex information clearly. * Good at analysing problems and finding solutions. * Able to work well in a team and communicate confidently with different people. * Able to manage several tasks and deadlines while keeping high quality and attention to detail. * Able to read and review technical drawings accurately. * Understand how to id…
