Securities Lending Operations is a dynamic department that works with partners across the HSBC Global Banking and Markets business to deliver Securities Lending solutions to clients.
We are currently seeking a Director to join our Equity Derivatives Sales team in London. In this role you will:
- Be a Senior Sales covering the Asset Managers, Insurers and Pension fund clients in the UK.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, providing them with derivatives ideas and solutions to satisfy their investment needs.
- Leverage on our competitive platform to reinforce existing strong partnerships.
- Participate to the whole trade life cycle: term-sheet generation, pricing, booking, secondary market, after-trade follow up.
- On-boarding of new clients and looking for new business opportunities.
- Accountable for sales targets associated with their portfolio.
- Participate in new projects such as in Digital or Automation areas as and when it is required.
To be successful you should meet the following requirements:
- Education in Finance, Science or Mathematics would be beneficial.
- Proven experience covering UK institutional clients including Asset Managers, Insurers and / or Pension Funds.
- Must possess excellent Equity Flow Derivatives products knowledge.
- Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with very strong analytical skills.
