A well-established and prestigious manufacturing organisation are looking to hire an Engineering Team Manager on a permanent basis. The primary focus of the role is to manage the maintenance function and engineering team to ensure that equipment, services, and factory buildings are maintained in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. There is significant opportunity to make impactful changes to engineering as well as the opportunity to build a new shift team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 10 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers across two shifts
  • Reporting to the Head of Operations with overall maintenance responsibility for production machinery, plant equipment and facilities
  • Identifying, implementing, and managing projects, including the introduction of new equipment, new processes, and improving the performance of existing equipment.
