Uneek has partnered with a leading provider of software solutions for utilities and energy suppliers globally to support them in their search for a Head of Software Engineering Delivery to look after and grow engineering and software delivery teams across EMEA. Our client supports electricity, gas, and water providers with systems for customer billing, market interaction, and operational efficiency. Focused on innovation and the transition towards net zero, they deliver agile, cloud-based platforms to help utilities navigate the evolving energy landscape.
As Head of Software Engineering Delivery, you will be accountable for the performance and outcomes of the EMEA delivery and software engineering teams. Working closely with fellow Heads across the region, you’ll drive continuous improvement in key areas such as quality, security, and scalability, while embedding modern Agile practices throughout the engineering organisation. Your role will involve providing strategic leadership, guidance, and mentoring to EMEA engineering and delivery managers, and partnering with customer success and project teams to ensure engineering capacity aligns with business needs.
Key Details:- Salary: £130,000–£150,000 + generous benefits package + equity
- Hybrid: 3 days per week in their London HQ
- Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams, with a strong emphasis on software delivery, maintaining high standards, and meeting deadlines
