Job Description
Frasers Group currently have an opportunity for multiple Junior Designers to join us at our Head Office in Shirebrook on a Placement Year.
The Role
- Elevating one of the biggest sports and fashion retail groups in the UK and Europe.
- Designing exciting and impactful product using a commercial mindset
- Working on projects with a team of high performing commercial design professionals
- Owning elements of the design process, and making recommendations that will support brand elevation and market growth
- Researching, sourcing, developing and designing ranges and collections across our entire supply base
- Attending development meetings, forecasting trends and using market knowledge to influence designs
- Understanding brand identity and how it applies to the design and product
- Briefing suppliers and getting involved in sampling meetings
- Presenting insights in the Frasers way and channelling our core values

Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Working towards a degree in a relevant Fashion subject
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Commercially minded and a creative mindset
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments
- Ideally experience of a role in fashion or retail
- Ideally Adobe Suite knowledge focusing on Illustrator/Photoshop skills
- Microsoft Office experience is essential
