Job Description

For our Energy Infrastructure Team we are searching for an enthusiastic technical Sales Engineer to help grow our business in Europe. Main focus on applications with Energy Storage Systems in commercial, industrial and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging applications.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Provide technical support to sales and product marketing in an accurate and timely manner
  • Support the proposal preparation process
  • Prepare proposals and advice on solutions
  • Support the management of technical customer requirements in collaboration with the product management and development team from specification to acceptance with the customer
  • Assist in identifying new market opportunities. Supervise local grid codes, legislation and standards
  • Occasional on-site technical support at the customer site for complex technical challenges
  • Support relationship management and service delivery to business customers in Europe
  • Held planning, installation & service trainings
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our company's product lines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of experience with Energy Storage Systems or Power Conditioning Systems
  • Strong technical knowledge in system integrations, including interfaces, controls, and Energy Storage Systems
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to define costumer requirements and effective communicate them to product management and development teams
  • Capable of managing daily tasks independently while collaborating within an international team
  • Customer focus with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • In possession of a driving license
  • Fluent English(essential) and Chinese (advantage)
  • Installation experience / certificate to work in 1000VAC and 1500VDC (advantage)
