In this role, you’ll be working in a lean team, building Checkout’s own People Operating System. Your role will be to develop products that all of our 2000+ employees will use daily, from product ideation to deployment. Our vision is to create the Operating System for everything about our People at Checkout. We are developing a comprehensive OS suite, covering the entire employee lifecycle from pre-joining to alumni status, and everything in between.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Engage with colleagues, department, and team leads to identify priorities for our People OS;
  • Design products and features that improve daily life for all colleagues;
  • Own the execution and iteration of your products and features;
  • Collaborate within the People OS team, brainstorm, and support where needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in building full-stack web applications;
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end ownership, from ideation to deployment;
  • Proficiency in UI/UX: React, Typescript, Tailwind, with a focus on user-friendly experiences;
  • Proficiency in Backend: Next.js (App Router), Postgres, AWS; experience in rapid iteration and efficient system design;
  • Proven entrepreneurial and product mindset;
  • Eagerness to take ownership, interview users, develop solutions, and iterate;
  • Positive attitude and resilience.
