Government Site Security Operator

Our client is seeking experienced Security Operators to join their team at the Material Support Facility in Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. The A400 Team ATLAS Security Operator role is a crucial position that will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of security and safety at the company\’s facilities.

As an A400 Team ATLAS Security Operator – 1525, your primary duties will include:
– Delivering security services as per the specified contract requirements
– Assisting with security arrangements for visitors to the company\’s facilities
– Maintaining and updating department files and records
– Attending to customers arriving at the Material Support Facility
– Ensuring security forms are up-to-date, compliant, and aligned across the site
– Processing inward and outward visitors in accordance with industry standards
– Informing the Security Operations Officer of any security issues
– Creating reports from the available security systems and tools
– Providing resilience and support to the security office as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
– Confident and articulate communication skills
– Ability to work decisively within a multinational and/or defence environment
– Desirable: SIA Front Line Licence and experience in security positions
– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
– Essential: Ability to obtain UK National Security Vetting

The company offers a competitive hourly rate of 30.00 per hour (Umbrella) or 22.43 per hour (PAYE), along with a range of attractive benefits. This is a full-time position with standard working hours of 35 hours per week, typically scheduled from Monday to Friday.
