Senior Manager – Childrens Services Location: County Hall, PR1 8RE Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 1+ Months Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 37.50 per hour Job Ref: (phone number removed) Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of children\’s services within the council. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing a team of professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery. Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance children\’s services. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Managing budgets effectively to optimize resource allocation. Collaborating with stakeholders to improve service outcomes. Monitoring and evaluating service performance and implementing improvements. Person Specification To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Proven experience in a senior management role within children\’s services. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in children\’s services. Ability to develop strategic plans and manage budgets effectively. Experience in working collaboratively with various stakeholders. Registration with Social Work England is required.
