Middleton Sports Club is a private members club established almost 80 years ago. Sports include cricket, tennis, bowls, hockey, squash, stoolball and has a gym onsite with hi-tech equipment. In addition, we have a lovely social bar and we cater for any events in our restaurant with connecting marquee.
In order to continually attract members of all ages, we have restructured and identified the need for a Club Manager who can help us support our 1500 members and take the club to the next level, assisting us in achieving our 5-year strategy. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic and experienced to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant, friendly sports club.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management and experience in the hospitality sector. As the Club Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Middleton Sports Club, ensuring the delivery of high-quality sports, leisure, and hospitality services. The Club Manager will be responsible for driving membership, maintaining excellent member satisfaction, increasing usage of the club’s facilities, and managing a cohesive team to meet operational, financial, and strategic goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the Chair of the Board or individual Directors to ensure all sports and clubhouse facilities are well managed and fit for purpose.
- Assist with planning and implementing facility upgrades or new projects as required.
