Are you passionate about education and looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting? Aspire People are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Primary Cover Supervisor to join our team supporting Primary schools across Watford and surrounding.
About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Work is set by teaching staff, and your role will be to ensure students remain on task, safe, and engaged in their learning. You will work across a range of year groups from Early Years to Year 6 unless you have a preference of key stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons across the primary curriculum in the absence of the class teacher
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and any issues that arise
- Support pupils with their learning where appropriate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
- Is confident managing a classroom and delivering pre-planned work
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrates patience, flexibility, and a caring approach
