As we continue to scale, we are seeking a capable and proactive HR & Legal Advisor to support our internal operations and ensure legal compliance across all aspects of our business.This is a pivotal role that blends HR expertise with legal acumen, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is passionate about building robust, compliant, and people-centric processes.Role Overview This position combines HR responsibilities with legal oversight, ensuring our internal operations and external client engagements are compliant, efficient, and aligned with best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Provide day-to-day HR support to internal staff and management. Manage employee relations, including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance issues. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Maintain and update HR policies in line with UK employment law. Support training and development initiatives.Legal Draft, review, and negotiate client and contractor agreements. Ensure compliance with UK employment law, IR35, GDPR, and other relevant regulations. Advise on contractual disputes and support debt recovery processes. Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary. Maintain legal documentation and risk registers.Requirements CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience). Legal qualification or strong experience in contract law/employment law. Previous experience in a recruitment or staffing agency is highly desirable. Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and commercial contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.We are offering a competitive base salary plus Bonus
