Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Artist to join our imagery team and lead the creative and technical development of high-end, photorealistic CGI imagery. You will craft compelling visuals that communicate Client’s engineering excellence across global marketing campaigns and media types. You will set the visual benchmark, pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation. As a senior member of the team, you will act as a mentor, collaborator, and technical authority—helping others to grow while setting the gold standard in 3D production and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of photorealistic imagery and animation that aligns with Client’s brand and engineering ethos.
  • Translate briefs into on-brand, visually stunning creative solutions.
  • Develop and implement efficient 3D workflows and pipelines using cutting-edge tools.
  • Collaborate closely with producers, creatives, and external vendors through all stages of production.
  • Provide technical leadership and art direction to internal and external teams.
  • Support the production of assets for a broad range of media, including digital, print, retail, and broadcast.
  • Take ownership of key projects, delivering exceptional results on time and within scope.
  • Identify and resolve technical and creative challenges during production.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement in visual storytelling, tools, and techniques.
  • Contribute to the team culture by supporting, mentoring, and inspiring peers.
  • Ensure all output meets Client’s brand standards and elevates our visual identity.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 3D Production Expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Maya or similar 3D software (e.g., Blender, 3ds Max).
  • Strong rendering skills using VRay or equivalent render engines.
  • Expert in lighting, shading, and texturing (PBR workflows).
  • Excellent modelling skills (mechanical and organic forms).
  • Proficient in UV mapping, procedural texturing, and physically plausible shader development.

Post-Production & Compositing:

  • Skilled in compositing and post-production workflows (ideally with Nuke).
  • Strong retouching skills using Adobe Photoshop and knowledge of RGB/CMYK colors workflows.

Artistic Vision & Direction:

  • Deep understanding of light, form, texture, and composition.
  • Ability to fold narrative into visual design and communicate technical detail through imagery.
  • Strong eye for detail and colours accuracy.
  • Experience working as or alongside Art Directors, managing visual consistency and creative intent.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in keyframe animation and/or VFX techniques.
  • Photography or traditional visual art background.
  • Ability to benchmark and creatively challenge industry norms.
