One of our prestigious clients is looking for a Machine Setter & Operator to join their team on a day to day basis. This is a great opportunity for a career in a successful Manufacturing Company with great rates of pay and career progression.

Reporting to Manager: Senior Setter

Job Role: To Set up and Operate the production lines accurately according to specification, to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the line without any deviation and flagging any deviation with a cause.

Duties:

  • Set up production line according to the specification.
  • Supporting Changeovers Line Operation.
  • Operating the line at the speed prescribed or better than planned.
  • Choosing and loading front and back labels, ensuring that the bar codes are correct.
  • Change shrink film as and when required.
  • Support Operatives.
  • Direct line service regarding correct components/labels etc.
  • Ensure Quality checks are carried out and documented as per the spec and product matches gold seal sample.

Training:

  • Training of new Operatives.
  • Support the Site Engineers as and when required.
