We are working on an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join an International Company who specialise in ethical travel and volunteer programmes for young adults wishing to visit Asia, South America and Africa. This role will suit someone who is looking to step away from the norm and work for a vibrant, progressive company who offer a fun, high-energy working environment.
Within this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for the production of the monthly Management Accounts for the global operations. You will also assist with the production of budgets, forecasts, and a variety of reports for external stakeholders. Ideally you will be fully qualified (ACA/CIMA or ACCA), although applications will also be considered from part qualified candidates with relevant experience. We will also consider applications from candidates who wish to work part-time hours (minimum of 22.5 hours a week). Hybrid working is also available.
In this Management Accountant role, you will join their friendly established team where you will be working within a fast-paced environment, with a lot of international interaction. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks which will include the following:
- Production of monthly Management Accounts for their group of global operations, based in the UK, Americas, Africa and Asia
- Review & manage multi-currency cashflows and prepare cashflow forecasts for global operations
- Assist with month-end processing for global operations (accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations, depreciation of fixed assets and deferred revenue)
- Support with system & process projects. Work with MD’s across multiple entities to explain budgets and update forecasts
What skills/experience will you need?
- Part/fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proactive in your approach and a confident communicator
- Experience of multi-currency & multi-entity environment would be an advantage, although not essential.
- Strong IT systems (Xero, Access Dimension/File Maker would be advantageous)
- Advanced Excel skills to support complex reporting
