An international bank is seeking a dynamic, technically capable, and strategically minded leader to head their Market Risk & Market Data IT division. This role is central to designing and delivering in-house systems that power the enterprise market risk analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership of technology solutions in Market Risk and Market Data
- Oversee in-house development (primarily in .NET, some Java) of risk analytics systems
- Ensure data accuracy and model integrity across risk platforms
- Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and Operations on enterprise-wide initiatives
- Lead a team including tech leads, BAs, and developers
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Own project prioritization, budget management, and vendor interaction
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years' experience in Financial Markets IT, with hands-on Market Risk exposure
