VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation in the public sector to recruit for a Cache Developer for an initial 3-month contract.
The successful Cache Developer will support on the delivery of a number of regulatory-driven updates to a legacy information management system. Our client is currently migrating to a new system, however there are 8 specific changes required on the existing system to ensure ongoing compliance and best practice in the interim.
Key responsibilities:- Work with InterSystems Cache to deliver predefined changes to the legacy system in line with regulatory objectives
- Develop and deliver defined system changes based on existing blueprints/specifications
- Work independently while collaborating with technical and compliance stakeholders as and when required
- Ensure updates meet relevant system regulations and standards
- Strong hands-on experience with caching technologies, ideally InterSystems Cache
- Experience using database systems such as InterSystems Cache, SQL
- Proficient in programming languages e.g. ObjectScript, SQL, VB.Net, Python
- Proven ability to work from specifications/blueprints
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements / frameworks in clinical or healthcare systems would be an added bonus
