A globally recognised design and architecture studio, known for its imaginative approach to the built environment, is seeking a materials focused Interior Designer with experience in procurement, materials and finishes to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to support a major project by coordinating bespoke material samples and working closely with suppliers to bring the design vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procuring, tracking, and organising material samples in response to the team’s creative direction
  • Collaborating with international suppliers to develop custom finishes that align with the aesthetic and technical requirements of the project
  • Supporting the interior and architectural teams with materials knowledge, availability, and performance criteria
  • Ensuring samples meet necessary durability, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Acting as a key liaison between the design team and external manufacturers, fabricators, and suppliers

  • A background in high-end hospitality or commercial interior design
  • Strong knowledge of materiality, finishes, and the technical and regulatory aspects of material specification
