This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior MEMS Design Engineer to join an Edinburgh-based team developing microphone solutions for the world’s leading consumer devices. Working as part of our client’s Semiconductor business unit, the Senior MEMS Design Engineer will be working on world-class R&D for MEMS microphone applications, specifically developing MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) from concept to production. The MEMS Design Engineer will model structures both analytically and using COMSOL, and will work in conjunction with other team members based in Hong Kong and Singapore. With significant expansion plans, our client offers solid scope for career advancement. This can be a Senior or Staff position for the right candidate.
Requirements include:
- A University degree within Electronic Engineering or related field
- Experience of designing MEMS devices and test structures
- Experience within simulation (Spice/Cadence/Matlab) would be desirable
- Experience using COMSOL/FEA would also be preferred.
