You’ll also be someone who deeply understands the culture of content: what resonates, what gets shared, and what earns real attention.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-channel content strategy – Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy across YouTube and social platforms to drive podcast visibility, community engagement, and audience growth.
  • Video editing and clipping – Edit standout clips from long-form episodes using a combination of Adobe Premiere and AI tools like Opus, ensuring alignment with the tone and style of the podcast.
  • YouTube growth & optimisation - Accelerate growth of podcast YouTube channels by optimising new and archive content, creating compelling titles and thumbnails, and leveraging platform features to boost visibility.
  • AI content creation and curation – Plan, create, and manage high-quality photo, graphic, and video content tailored to each platform with AI tools. Maintain a consistent visual and editorial brand identity.
  • Content scheduling and delivery – Upload and schedule all content across YouTube and selected social channels ensuring alignment with the overall marketing calendar and partner requirements.
  • Copywriting and tone of voice – Utilise AI to efficiently write inspirational, thoughtful, and engaging copy for all platforms, ensuring a consistent tone of voice that reflects the values of each podcast.
  • Community management – Monitor and engage with the community across social and YouTube, responding to comments and messages to foster a positive and active audience.
  • Performance tracking and reporting – Analyse key metrics using platform analytics tools (e.g. YouTube Studio, Instagram Insights), provide regular reports, and use insights to refine strategies.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated success managing and growing social media and YouTube channels, with a track record of increasing views, engagement, and subscribers.
  • Deep understanding of social and YouTube algorithms, trends, and key performance metrics, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Video editing proficiency using traditional tools such as Adobe Premiere and upcoming AI tools like Opus, as well as relevant scheduling and analytics platforms e.g. YouTube Studio.
  • Experience in graphic design and creating visually engaging content (e.g., carousels, thumbnails).
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment across multiple shows.
