We are Virginias Furniture Hire and we supply furniture and equipment to a high profile client list, film and TV sets, luxury brand events, and we’ve furnished some truly spectacular weddings and parties. Despite this variety, our commitment to each and every client remains the same.
We are looking for enthusiastic event delivery drivers to join our team and assist in the execution and delivery of furniture to these clients around the country.
We’d like it if you are:
- Strong and happy to carry heavy stuff
- Able to drive vans or larger HGVs
- A problem solver
- Really nice and friendly
- Have access to a vehicle due to our rural location
- Happy to work flexible hours. Overtime, weekend and Bank Holiday work will be required during high season.
This is a temporary role with contract end October 2025 but may extend further.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting as necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues or delays to management.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
