We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Production Technician to join a close-knit and supportive team in Oxford. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of high-precision manufacturing, where safety, accuracy and continuous improvement are key.

You’ll be involved in the operation and maintenance of specialised chambers used for testing high-performance devices, working closely with engineering, quality and production teams. What you’ll be doing:

  • Assembling and disassembling test chambers, identifying components to technical drawings
  • Setting up and operating firing mechanisms safely and accurately
  • Loading, arming, and firing high-performance components
  • Collecting and analysing test data and updating internal systems (SAP)
  • Pressure testing chambers and using ovens, freezers, and conditioning chambers safely
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with technical notes, QA instructions, and engineering specifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
  • Mechanical Assembly Skills
  • Knowledge of oscilloscopes would be desirable but not essential
  • Comfortable working under time pressure and managing priorities to hit deadlines
  • Familiar with health & safety procedures in a workshop or production environment
