Location: Bristol/North Somerset

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 + car + benefits

Sector: Refurbishment projects £100k – £1m

The Company:

Our client is a successful and growing main contractor based near Bristol, specialising in a variety projects across new build and refurbishment. Projects are typically across all general contracting sectors, including: Commercial, Residential apartments, public Sector and Education/University sectors. Typical projects range from £100k up to £1m.

Contracts Manager – The Role:

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager/Project Manager or existing Contracts Manager to join the team based from the Bristol office but roaming across projects (typically 2-3 at any one time) You will be responsible for leading the overall delivery of contracts via site based Site Managers. The role will report to an Operations Manager and will h ave excellent opportunity for growth. Without a dedicated QS, you will be commercially astute.

Contracts Manager – The Person

• You will have a solid and steady permanent career experience with main contractor
• A desire to be/become a Contracts Manager
• Demonstrable experience of delivering refurishment projects
• Experience delivering contracts over £200k as number 1
• Proven experience in managing site based teams on multiple simultaneous projects at once beneficial
• SMSTS
• Innovative – ability to identify better ways of doing things
• High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme
• A track record of delivering projects across multi-sectors including
• A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals.
• Commutable within the Bristol + 1 hour region.
• Commercially strong – wprking without a QS
