Johnson Controls offers the largest portfolio of equipment, controls and services for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and security systems. As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of split, multi-split, VRV / VRF, DX systems at customer sites. You need to maintain the relationship with our clients, displaying good self-management, communication, and interpersonal skills, providing guidance and assistance to meet customer needs.
In this role, you will attend various client sites, supporting several projects, carrying out the installation and commissioning of the Air-conditioning units as well as commercial refrigeration systems.
You will be part of the VRF Installation Team, accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and in a professional manner. You are expected to adhere to all company and legal requirements, including complying with Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Health & Safety is extremely important, ensuring compliance with all legislation.
You will be responsible for the installation of HVAC equipment and pipework on customer sites, within a set timeframe and according to a defined process. You will be required to support various projects, and due to the nature of this role, working away will be necessary.
What we look for:
- Proven experience in full installation of HVAC systems including pipework, bracketry and cabling
- F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
- Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale
- Experience & knowledge with DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant
- Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment
- Understands and analyses relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams
- A full UK driving license
- IT skills - being able to record the details in the LD-Control platform (iPad)
- Self-motivated
- A committed can-do positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team
