Data Centre Security Ops Specialist

Responsibilities:Datacenter Operations:Oversee implementation of physical security policies and procedures.Security & safety incident managementGather/Retrieve data centre reported incidents and actioningPerform analysis to detect security threats, risks, alerts and escalate to the properincident response teams for further action if necessaryAccess control managementManage Internal and External Access RequestsRoutine Audit and management of Access Control Lists, internal ticket management, and process for physical access/internal systems permissionsLog reviewsAuthorized User ManagementCCTV and Security Camera ManagementShipment compliance- Inbound/Outbound request Management and Compliance/Policy- Validation and assurance of deliveries from couriers to data centre/warehouseacceptance and record- Vendor and Employee Hand CarrySecurity Protocols:Implement processes and plans to support the physical protection of company personneland assetsMedia Handling/DestructionCOD (Destruction/Sanitization) of Media Disk verification and TrackingBad Media Monitoring/Dashboard and ProcessDestruction Vendor Operations ManagementSmart Lock Access ManagementHardwareDecommission, RMA, and Migration of equipment handlingDiagnosing security hardware issues and reporting findings for escalationSupport Datacenter by overseeing decommissions, migrations, and vendor management from a security perspectiveSupport Physical Audit for Security and ComplianceOperations:Work alongside cross functional teams such as Operations, Logistics, Compliance,IRC, and Engineering teamsParticipate in improving and driving processes and standard operating proceduresReview the data center infrastructure maintenance notice, analysis the impact tooperation and follow up the change request if necessaryPerform the operation performance and incident review with data center providersData Accuracy:Have internal/external ticketing system for tracking all requests (JIRA)Associate project-related shipment tickets with TPM project tickets and keep themupdated.Work with data centres, Internal/External Teams for Security Initiatives andProcessesProcess Improvement SupportVendor Support:Initial POC for all Edge Operations Vendor Queries relating to security/complianceMaintain current Access Control List and Access/Inbound/Outbound ticketsSchedule onsite technicians and provide site access requests for all ad-hoc/scheduled activities.Submit Vendor Remote Hands Requests to support physical works on sitePerform regular audits for all site portals, inventory, and hours performed by vendorsSchedule vendors for ERAD for Reverse logistics and oversee the activities.QBR for all vendorsRequirements:The ideal candidate will have a high-level attention to detail, security operations and project management across multiple stakeholders and time zones, flexible with numerous tracking platforms and sheets, and keen on improvement processes and solutions. Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred with a plus in working in the Telco/Infrastructure field with security focused/priority and managing external vendors and data centres.
