Job Description:OverviewKey duties (including, but not limited to):Identifying and developing consultancy opportunities with new and existing clientsBuilding a strong network of contacts in the non-life sector, developing and maintaining good relationships with nominated clientsProviding high-quality support to insurance and reinsurance clients both in the UK and globally, either on a consulting basis or via secondment to the client, delivering projects on time and within budgetCollaborating across the business, particularly with investment specialists, to deliver on cross-practice projectsHelping to promote insurance offerings to a wider audience, including conference speaking and writing articlesDeveloping and shaping new investment propositions for clients and prospectsQualifications required:Likely qualified UK actuaries with relevant post-qualification experience, depending on experienceExperience required:Strategic business acumen and knowledge of risks facing the insurance industry, gained in an ‘in-house’ or consultancy roleGood knowledge of Solvency II requirements and familiarity with PRA and FCA handbooksUnderstanding of risk management frameworks used by insurance companiesStrong actuarial techniques knowledge and IT skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
