Job Title: MOT Tester (Ongoing Temporary Role) Location: Thurleigh Shift Pattern: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (30-minute unpaid break) Pay Rate: £16.80 – £25.00 per hour (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP – Immediate interviews available About the Role We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join an established workshop team on an ongoing temporary basis. You’ll play a key part in carrying out MOT checks, road tests, and inspections to ensure vehicles meet the highest standards of safety and quality. This role offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a supportive workshop team. Key Responsibilities * Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations. * Undertake road and ramp testing, diagnosing faults as required. * Complete repairs in line with approved methods to return vehicles to original condition. * Perform electrical diagnosis and warranty repairs where necessary. * Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and company procedures are followed. * Support workshop colleagues and assist with general workshop tasks when required. * Maintain efficiency by planning and organising workload effectively.
