Lead Solution Architect

Contract Solution Architect Role – Hertfordshire or Newcastle!

Start mid-June – min. 6-month contract

Days onsite approx. two days per week – not fully remote.

***NO SPONSORSHIP AND INSIDE IR35 – UP TO £900 pay per day***

*Essential experience with Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, and/or Microsoft Azure.

Certification in recognized Architecture frameworks (TOGAF/Zachman).

Role Purpose:

Propose solutions (products/services) to meet business needs.

Define and enforce standards for application systems.

Document interactions between systems considering the full end-to-end solution.

Assess current systems architecture and recommend solutions to meet programme objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

Translate business requirements into an architectural specification.

Ensure consistent application of the architectural specification throughout delivery.

Develop high-quality, flexible, scalable, cost-effective solutions.

Highlight exceptions to enterprise architecture to Domain/Enterprise Architects.

Ensure compliance with architecture principles, policies, and standards.

Participate in Technical Governance processes.

Produce consistent project delivery effort estimations.

Assess impact of technical changes on business processes.

Create and maintain future state architecture.

Produce solution architecture options and estimates.

Maximise reuse in architecture specifications.

Skills and Experience:

Ability to communicate complex issues simply and concisely.

Broad knowledge of technologies.

Experience in integration, consolidation, and data transit within systems.

Project management, business analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture.

Experience with various IT delivery approaches (waterfall, agile).

Strong Application Architecture background.

Knowledge of operating systems and databases.

Merger and acquisition environment experience a real bonus
