Our client based in Spalding is looking for an Engineering Coordinator to join their growing team to start ASAP! Our client is a UK supply chain and logistics expert specializing in flexible, reliable, and cost-effective supply chain services.
As an Engineering Coordinator, you will be central to keep the facilities and vehicle maintenance running smoothly. You'll coordinate essential engineering tasks such as servicing, parts ordering, contractor management, and fault tracking for both the site and vehicle fleet. Your work will help ensure safe, timely, and high-quality service delivery to our customers.
You'll collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager, LGV Mechanics, wider site teams, and central departments to ensure day-to-day operations run effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure Health & Safety measures are always the top priority.
- Oversee contractor coordination and provide a consistently high standard of care.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with external partners.
- Manage scheduling and booking of site servicing and repairs.
- Monitor and report on servicing, parts usage, and equipment status.
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of Module 7.
- Stay organised and manage time effectively to meet operational deadlines.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced logistics or engineering environment is preferred.
- Confident with MS Word and Excel; comfortable handling data and reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Numerate and literate, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Shift/ Pay rates:
- Monday to Friday- 08:00-16:00 (with a 30-minute unpaid break)
- Pay rate: Β£13.35 per hour
