A national company is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join its busy transport team located in Hatfield.
Duties:
- Primarily trunking from depot to depot.
- Deliver parcels/packages to designated depot to depot locations in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules.
Pay Rates:
- Day Pay Rates - £19.83 per hour increasing to £22.22 per hour after 12 weeks.
- Night Pay Rates - £23.80 per hour increasing to £26.67 per hour after 12 weeks.
- 6th Day Pay Rates - £39.67 per hour increasing to £44.45 per hour.
- Overtime available after 12 weeks of service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 experience required.
- UK Registered HGV License, CPC card and Tacho card.
- PAYE ONLY.
Average shift length is 8 to 10 hours.
