Summary
- The team primarily handles client outreach and document review within the AML KYC space.
- Two horizontal teams: one focused on governance and another on planning analytics and governance.
- Current analytics and reporting are done by one primary person in Singapore, creating time zone challenges.
Responsibilities
- Understanding data, creating executive reports, automating processes, and maintaining standard reporting.
- Creating and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs within AML processes.
- Data includes client attributes, process stages, risk ratings, and other metrics.
- Weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting across teams.
- Interfacing with regional leaders to determine scope and structure for reports, dashboards, and metrics.
- Collaborating frequently with Singapore, London, and US teams.
Initial client responsibilities
- Cross-training with the team on various business controls functions to support lines of business.
- Transitioning knowledge base and reporting capabilities to provide global coverage, including: re-baselining population, capacity planning, headcount, revenue, and CV dashboards.
- Performing BAU and ad hoc reporting for restrictions, closures, and extensions.
- Working with regional leaders to scope and build reports for restrictions and closures globally.
- Creating new views using Tableau and Excel to provide accurate, ongoing reports for the organization. Modifying dashboards as requested.
- Transitioning and taking over M&I defect reporting: identifying, tracking, updating, and reporting defects; managing restrictions and closures related to M&I processes, ensuring compliance and timely communication; collaborating with regional leads for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Refreshing population re-baseline—currently analyzing the full population against new standards to scope and plan from 2024 to 2028, and creating reports for executive leadership.
- Implementing ongoing process improvements.
- Tools used include: Excel, SharePoint, Tableau, and other client reporting and workflow tools.
