What you’ll be doing:
As the Social & Content Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the Social Media Manager, playing a key role in delivering a dynamic and engaging brand presence across digital platforms. You will support the Social Media Manager in planning, creating, deploying, and optimising content tailored to each platform - such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube - while also contributing to wider digital marketing efforts including influencer outreach, email marketing, video production and editing, and social media analytics.
You will be responsible for creating scroll-stopping content that resonates with target audiences, managing day-to-day digital activity, and maintaining the quality and consistency of our brand voice across all touchpoints. You will also play a crucial role in managing social media inboxes, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring that all output is aligned with broader marketing objectives.
You will collaborate with the wider Marketing team, including the in-house Creative Team, and the wider Commercial Team, to ensure content and assets are briefed, created, and deployed accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
You will work towards 3 main goals (aligned with the wider Marketing team):
- Increasing Brand Awareness across consumer and commercial audiences
- Driving engagement with innovative and creative content strategies
- Delivering ROI through strategic content planning, creation and deployment
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and presentation across all communications
- Assist the Social Media Manager in developing and producing engaging multimedia content (video, reels, graphics, carousels) that is native to each digital platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Ensure effective deployment of content in alignment with the social media content calendar
- Ensuring assets and content are scheduled for key marketing opportunities, including for key retail moments throughout the year for our owned websites and third-party channels (e.g. Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday, Christmas)
- Write compelling copy for captions, posts, and other branded communications
- Support influencer outreach, relationship management, and content collaborations
- Monitor and respond to direct messages, comments, and brand mentions across social media channels to foster community engagement
- Identify opportunities for user-generated content and brand amplification
- Track and report on content performance, using insights to refine creative and posting strategies
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to A/B test content formats and posting times
- Analyse audience behaviour and trending formats to guide content ideation
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including content planning, copywriting, and asset coordination
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure email content is aligned with brand and campaign messaging
- Create press releases and seasonal / collection launch content when required
- Assist in planning and storyboarding video concepts in alignment with brand objectives and current content trends
- Shoot, edit, and produce short-form video content for organic and campaign use
- Work with internal teams and/or external partners for larger-scale video production needs (e.g. UGC creators and influencers)
- Ensure the brand’s core customers are represented throughout the content produced
- Support on photoshoots where required
- Work closely with the in-house Creative, Commercial, and Product teams to plan and deliver integrated marketing activity
- Support on product launches by creating tailored social content and campaign assets
- Brief creative teams with clear and strategic content requests
- Working on cross-department projects and tasks that involve the marketing team – such as Customer Communications and internal marketing presentations

We’re looking for a person who...
Must:
- Ideally have a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field, but a degree is not a formal requirement
- Have a good general level of education in core numeracy & literacy, with excellent written communication skills
- Have proven experience of being highly organised, including seeing tasks and projects through to completion, with a high degree of accuracy and pace.
- Have proven ability to present information effectively to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Be a demonstrable self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives working at pace.
- Have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and shift workload to meet deadlines.
- Have a strong understanding of content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar
- Have the confidence in working with multiple teams including data, creative and commercial teams, aligning with business goals
