This role is for an Application Support Manager focused on a commodities trading division stepping in to take over a pre-existing function of App Support Engineers. The successful candidate will lead a small team of three, providing hands-on support and maintenance across key trading platforms—most notably TrayPort. They’ll be instrumental in ensuring the stability and performance of business-critical systems, leveraging tools like PowerShell, SQL, and Excel to streamline operations and enhance functionality.
Location - London (Closest Station - Liv Street, Bank, Moorgate)
Pay - Up to £110,000 per annum + Sizeable Bonus
Hybrid Working - 3-4 days per week in office + On-Call
Key Skills:
- Strong TrayPort experience – essential for handling core systems in the energy trading environment.
- Advanced Excel skills – ideally an "Excel guru" with experience working with tools like MDXT for price extraction and analysis.
- Solid PowerShell and SQL proficiency – critical for automation, data handling, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments – supporting infrastructure and operational tasks.
- Background in commodities trading – especially energy markets, to align with the team's focus and context.
- Bonus: Experience with CT Grid or other web front-end technologies – beneficial but not essential.
