Our client is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their team based in Inverness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of Management Accounts in line with deadlines.
Duties include:
- Production of Monthly Management Accounts and all related reports within agreed deadlines.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Identifying and reporting/resolving variances.
- Support the training of staff including review of work.
- Maintain effective lines of communication.
- Provide commentary regarding Management Accounting issues.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Work closely in support of the Financial Controller, carrying out additional project accounting and reporting tasks.
Person Specification:
- Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (qualified by experience also considered).
- Experience of management accounts preparation and reporting.
- Ability to identify and resolve variances and issues.
- Well organised and able to manage a busy and varied workload, working to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
