You\’ll be based at a leading-edge research facility, where your clinical skills will support ethically grounded, welfare-focused programs.What You’ll DoAct as a deputy Named Veterinary Surgeon under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) ActDeliver expert clinical care and case management, including anaesthesia, surgery, and ophthalmologyProvide advice and guidance on animal welfare, contributing to internal ethical review processesEngage with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory bodies, and clients to ensure compliance and excellence in veterinary careSupport and potentially lead specialist research, with opportunities to publish and present workWhat We’re Looking ForEligibility for membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)Strong clinical foundation in medicine and surgery, with interest in developing skills across a variety of speciesExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetPrior experience in laboratory animal medicine is an advantage, but full training will be providedWillingness to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota (non-onerous)Step out of the ordinary and into a veterinary role with impact.
