Our client, a well-established company in Basildon, is looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Service Coordinator to join their team initially on a temporary basis which will ultimately develop into a permanent contract.
Our client is looking for a friendly and personable individual with experience of coordinating facilities maintenance engineers' workloads alongside excellent communication skills, a confident and positive approach, and the ability to multi-task. The focus of this role will be to provide a first-class service to customers. You will be answering incoming calls and dealing with planned preventative maintenance contracts and works and emergency breakdown/reactive calls.
Other aspects of this role will include preparing quotes, ordering spare parts, and carrying out all the related client, contract, and compliance administration.
For this role you will need:
- Previous experience within a Service Coordinator role
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organisation skills, use of initiative, and ability to prioritise workload
- Business and/or Administration Qualifications
- Experience of Construction Manager or similar programmes
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
