Your Mission:
The Online Merchandising Admin sits within the Merchandising team and is responsible for ensuring the optimum range across all our product categories, identifying gaps in our offer, adhering to seasonal trends as well as looking for new trending products that will appeal to the customer base and drive onsite visitation and conversion.
Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring all products are attributed correctly and feature on all intended pages so the customer can see the full scale of our offer at all times. And will assist in the site visual merchandising planning based on upcoming trends.
The Merchandising team as a whole are responsible for compiling the business’ online shop window using both qualitative and quantitative data to select the most appropriate deals to display on-site. By assessing which offerings should deliver the most revenue for the company in the medium to long term, the Merchandising team will provide insight to the Sales teams and Management in order to meet changing consumer preferences and adapt to seasonal change. The team also supports the administrative responsibilities required to get a deal live from the point of signing.

- Identifying trends and trending products in ecommerce and on social media.
- Presenting findings to peers and stakeholders.
- Monitoring the sales team in procuring these products.
- Ability to excite and persuade others about new trends.
- Analysing previous data to identify customer behaviour and trends.
- Ability to draw clear conclusions from data and use for range planning objectives.
- Planning ahead of seasonal trends and ensuring the sales team have products to go after and deliver into the range ahead of demand
- Working with the design team to ensure all assets and creatives are ready to refresh the site.
- Optimisation of new trending products to ensure discoverability by the Wowcher customer.
- Ensuring all products are tagged to relevant pages and reviewing order deals are presented in
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g. excel) is essential.
- Familiarity with on-site ecommerce metrics such as visitors and conversion rate and tools such as Google trends is beneficial.
- Ability to multitask and respond to ad-hoc data requests whilst taking care of ongoing tasks / projects.
- Ability to prioritise and maintain composure when challenged by others within the business.
