They are offering up to £75,000 + £5,800 car allowance and a bonus of 10% which can reach up to 20% dependent on performance variables. Based in West London and offering hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and implement global sourcing strategy for commodities and ingredients, collaborating with regional teams.
- Conduct market analysis, source new suppliers, and negotiate global agreements.
- Drive supplier performance, cost savings, and category productivity targets.
- Partner with R&D and sustainability teams to deliver innovation and ethical sourcing goals.
- Support commodity coverage and provide insights to finance and hedging teams.
- Act as escalation point for supplier issues and ensure contract execution globally.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and supplier evaluation processes.
- Align sourcing plans with product development, operations, and commercial strategies.
- 4+ years' experience in direct procurement, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Expertise in ingredients, raw materials or agricultural commodities.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Experience in global, matrixed procurement environments.
- Highly commercial, data-driven, with strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.
- Skilled negotiator with a hands-on and strategic mindset.
- Degree-qualified (CIPS/MCIPS preferred); additional languages desirable.
