Project Manager

The Company

Our client is a respected mechanical and building services contractor delivering installation, service, and project works across commercial, healthcare, and industrial environments. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to run Air Conditioning projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing air conditioning installation and refurbishment projects from initial enquiry through to completion. This hands‑on management role involves overseeing site teams, subcontractors, budgets, and client relationships to ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple air conditioning and HVAC projects simultaneously.
• Lead site teams and supervise subcontractors to ensure high‑quality installations.
• Carry out site surveys, produce quotations, and assist with tender preparation.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
• Monitor project progress, costs, and health & safety compliance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Ensure projects meet all F‑Gas and environmental standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and apprentices.

About You

• Proven experience managing HVAC or air conditioning projects (VRV/VRF, split, and ventilation systems).
• F‑Gas certified or strong technical understanding of A/C systems.
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
