This role requires a diverse skill set focused on Procurement, with opportunities for learning and development through on-the-job training and various e-learning platforms. You will gain exposure to multiple functions within the company to build a network, enabling you to deliver contracts and maintain stakeholder relationships. This position is internally called Procurement Programmes Specialist, a management-level role at level 6 on our Salary and Career Progression (S&CPF) framework. Key Responsibility Areas Deliver commitments related to budget, lead time, and quality made by the purchasing team. Establish mechanisms to report progress monthly. Act as a conduit between buyers, programmes, and other functions to ensure timely order placement and information flow. Manage new customer-required items, overseeing budget responsibilities. Own one or more customer projects from start to finish as the IPT lead for Procurement. Manage elements of a programme, though not a programme manager role. Support buyers by ensuring they have what they need, acting on their behalf. Manipulate data across software platforms to generate reports, without being a data analyst. Serve as the main interface between purchasing and other company departments, primarily in person or on-site, with flexible working options including remote work. Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required What do we need? Knowledge of procurement processes, able to represent Procurement within an IPT. Confident, proactive in obtaining information, able to challenge appropriately, and maintain good relationships across levels. Capable of handling high workloads independently and prioritizing effectively. Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills with support. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (using pivots, VLookups, formulas), and able to manipulate large data sets for reporting. Preferred but Not Essential Experience managing similar activities in a comparable sector. Knowledge or experience in the aerospace sector. Experience with SAP.
