Job Description

The Account Executive will play a crucial role in achieving Assent’s growth objectives. The role involves developing relationships with clients at all levels, including senior executives, and selling innovative software in a B2B SaaS environment. This individual must be driven to succeed and thrive in building a new product market and developing a territory from scratch.

  1. Prospect and sell to new logos.
  2. Establish and develop an account-based sales strategy to meet sales quotas.
  3. Follow a systematic sales process to advance prospect sales campaigns.
  4. Win new customers through self-sourcing, research, responding to leads, and building strong relationships.
  5. Manage a complex sales cycle with prospective senior executives and multiple organizational stakeholders (Manufacturing Operations, Demand Management, Finance, IT).
  6. Manage all sales activities and revenue forecasting in Salesforce.
  7. Adhere to corporate security policies and follow Assent’s processes and procedures.

Qualifications

We value your talent, energy, and passion. The following qualifications are also beneficial:

  • Native speaker in Italian or French (fluency in a second language) and English.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with SaaS experience essential.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end SaaS sales cycles.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas up to $1M.
  • Start-up sales experience is a plus.
  • Tenacious, motivated hunter with a record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to sell to executive decision-makers.
  • Skill in identifying client needs and articulating the benefits of Assent’s offerings.
  • Excellent questioning, listening, and analytical skills.
  • Self-sufficient in developing sales artifacts and experienced with CRM tools.
  • Articulate, persuasive, and passionate communicator in English, Italian, and French.
