Job DescriptionJob title: Assistant Underwriter (Public Sector)Salary: £25,000 – £30,000Location: SurreyWe are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our client\’s Binder Management team. This role will be based in their Surrey office on a hybrid basis. The primary focus of this position is to underwrite key accounts, drive new business growth, and ensure the operational effectiveness of the Public Sector Delegated Authority Agreements (DAA).Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day servicing and growth of Public Sector DAA- Administer tasks in compliance with insurer procedures- Process, record, and confirm instructions efficiently- Provide regular updates and management information for each DAA- Identify under-insurance and potential gaps in client cover- Ensure DAA are fit for purpose and provide feedback on product development- Support testing requirements of system DAA developments- Comply with regulatory requirements and company procedures- Maintain positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers, and suppliers- Identify training needs and development opportunities for team members- Stay updated with technical, legal, and market developments through training- Report problems outside of authority or experience level prompt…
