We at PEI Group are looking for an Investor Acquisition Executive to join our welcoming, diverse, and growing team based here in our London office. The successful candidate will be establishing and deepening relationships with EMEA based institutional investors and reporting to the Sales Manager, EMEA & APAC.
Key responsibilities and expectations:
- Invite and confirm Institutional Investors (LPs) to PEI Groupβs global event portfolio.
- Primarily conduct 50 outbound engagements a day (Calls, e-mails & LinkedIn).
- Build rapport & encourage engagement with institutional investors through online & in-person meetings.
- Completing Demos via screen share or in person of the Investor Network platform when required.
- Understand investor needs to drive networking and knowledge-gathering opportunities.
- Gather feedback on the value of the PEI products and on how we can improve our network & event experience.
- Delivering against daily/weekly/monthly targets relating to outreach volumes, duration, and sales targets.
- Assimilating key selling points during event briefing sessions and being able to deliver succinctly and compellingly these in verbal and written communication to relevant prospects.
- Working closely with our internal production function to provide detailed and thorough feedback about prospects, pipelines, and progress on each event.
- Working closely with our R&A team, providing updated information of investor appetite/activities where possible.
- Maintaining up to date in CRM records is essential, to ensure that all daily activity, contact with prospective customer and pipeline is fully recorded.
- Keeping colleagues fully informed of your activities through formal reporting procedures with your Sales Leader based in London.
About You
Requirements, experience, skills, and professional attributes:
- Experience and performance in customer service or client engagement (particularly with Investors) and a desire to take this to a more intellectual level.
- Experience communicating with C suite decision makers of large multi-national businesses, understanding their role in the market and their needs.
- Knowledge of industry events, private markets, fund managers and the LP GP capital raising dynamic is preferred.
- A strong understanding and focus on the right KPI measures β both financial and non-financial.
- A love of networking and relationship building and curiosity to learn about people and markets and the ability to tailor solutions to client needs.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude toward wider business requirements.
