The Opportunity
We’re partnering with several clients across the asset management and wider financial services sectors who are exploring senior-level legal hires within their corporate functions. These positions will appeal to experienced corporate lawyers who enjoy strategic legal work, managing complex transactions, and acting as key legal advisers across the business.
The Role
- Leading on high-value M&A, JV, and corporate restructuring transactions
- Acting as a senior legal stakeholder across legal, commercial, finance, and governance teams
- Project-managing broader elements of strategic transactions and investments
- Reviewing and negotiating legal documentation across corporate and financial matters
- Managing external counsel and overseeing execution on cross-border mandates
- Contributing to legal operations, internal frameworks, and risk management strategy
The Profile
- Qualified lawyer in England & Wales, ideally with c.10PQE+ (happy to be flexible for the right candidate)
- Trained at a reputable City firm with significant experience in M&A and corporate transactions
- A background in asset management, private funds, or broader financial services is highly advantageous
- Proven leadership skills, able to operate at pace and influence senior stakeholders
- Equally suitable for those in private practice or already in-house, seeking a step up
